Do Cooklife skillets work on induction & electric stoves?

They do! We have a clever feature on all COOKLIFE cast iron skillets—a heat ring! It is designed to make sure the Skillet remains balanced as it heats up on glass or ceramic flat cooktops and won’t interfere with cooking.

Isn't cast iron supposed to be heavy?

Our research found the Goldilocks zone to be 4 to 4.2 lbs for a 10.25 inch skillet. Anything above this zone only makes pan harder to maneuver without adding cooking performance and anything below makes the pan more susceptible to warping or breakage

Happy with purchase. I additionally seasoned after use for the first three uses, now it’ is “stick-free” I use it on a glass top and it works great. If using on a glass top, be sure to ease down softly and do not drag on the surface.

A best buy!

The smooth bottom of the cast iron pan is a game changer! When used correctly nothing sticks not even eggs. I have another cast iron pan but rarely used it because it is hard to clean and some things stuck even though I seasoned multiple times. This pan has become my go to now. The size is perfect, the heat distribution is very good. It is well worth the price. I believe this has been one of my better buys from Amazon. Two thumbs way up!

Absolutely love it! Being new to cast iron pans, all the information can be overwhelming. What I learned through trial and error, and what I wish someone had told me—-is to be sure to get a pan that is PRE-SEASONED and SMOOTHED FLAT on the bottom. When the pan is rough on the bottom, it makes food more likely to stick-no matter how well seasoned it is. THIS pan is well smoothed and I had ZERO issues with sticking or cleaning.It’s also lighter weight than others, and can be lifted easily with one arm. Love the leather handle holder than came with it as well.
