Fantastic pan! Love the size!

I'm head over heels for my cast iron griddle! The smooth polished surface is perfect for cooking, and the pre-seasoned finish makes it ready to use right out of the box. I love that it's of a good weight, (not too heavy to handle but still heavy, if that makes sense 😅), making it relatively easy to maneuver and store. The cooking performance is exceptional - food cooks evenly and develops a beautiful crust for our dishes contain dough. Cleaning is easy as well, and the included cleaning kit is a thoughtful touch. I've used it on the stovetop, in the oven, and even over a campfire, and it performs beautifully every time. My husband and I have been using it nonstop since we got it, and we're both obsessed. I ordered this griddle along with one from Greater Goods as they were the only ones with good reviews that are also smooth finished. I thought I would keep only one but ended up keeping both. I preseasoned both several times as a precaution; I've not found advertised preseasoning to be reliable. I didn't do any sanding, just oiled and baked and redid several times. This one is a nice weight and although not deep it serves the purpose for frying Swedish pancakes or crepes nicely. The double handles allow you to rotate the pan to spread the batter. They can become hot so hot pads are recommended. I bought some silicone handles for it but got the wrong size so don't know if they would help as they won't stay put. We also bought a silicone handle for the long handled Greater Goods griddle and it is useless; it becomes too hot to pick up or hold. Quilted handle covers are much better. I thought I'd be able to avoid burning the cover when I put the griddle in the oven and forget to take off the quilted cover but realized when I got it home that you aren't supposed to put them in the oven. I don't know if there are any others on the market that work.

do not put finger(s) in the handles, this product is very heavy and it will break a finger(s) if unable to keep it stable. Have only used in the oven to 400 degrees, yet bought for outdoor campfire use, will have if needed, and wo electricity won't be able to update info review as to use. very heavy and had no issues other than fear of finger injury if caught in handles.
