The Dreaded Rust Monster
Rust happens when moisture and oxygen team up to attack the iron in your cookware. And traditional drying methods, like towels, may leave pesky moisture in those hard-to-reach corners, setting the stage for rust.
That’s where Cooklife steps in with a solution that’s as simple as it is effective.
Cooklife’s Magic Formula: Air Drying!
Forget the towels. Forget the drying rack clutter. Cooklife cookware stays rust-free thanks to an innovative natural drying process that works like a charm on everything from cast iron.
Here’s how we do it.
Machining
The cookware is machined to keep a smooth surface. This process will remove the multi-hole surface of the original casting process, but still some grooves on the surface.
Nitriding
A thermal-chemical treatment with nitrogen, hardens the surface of our cookware at the molecular level. This technique, often utilized in high-demand industries such as aerospace and automotive manufacturing, creates a layer that’s remarkably resilient. The surface becomes not only tougher but also naturally fill in some surface grooves.
