Do I need to season the cast iron skillet with oil after each use?

Seasoning your cast iron skillet is an important step to maintain its non-stick surface and longevity. But you do not need to season it after each use.

Typically, you should season your skillet when it's new and then again if the seasoning starts to wear off or if food begins to stick. The Cooklife 12" Skillet doesn't need seasoning; it's pre-seasoned!

For regular maintenance, a light application of oil after each wash and thorough drying is usually sufficient. This helps to preserve the seasoning and prevent rust.
